Welcome to The Pawlett Pavilion

The famous Pawlett Pavilion!

The Pawlett Sports and Playing Field Association is a community driven members club that works to offer the best sports and venue hire to all of our members.

We are a leading venue for team sports, a top spot for a good party and a great place for a quiet drink on a Sunday afternoon. Sunsets at the pavilion are spectacular and not to be missed.

You do need to be a member to take advantage of our facilities but it’s quick, easy to join and cheap too!

  • Non members may be signed in by an existing member so you can have a taster of our facilities.

Here for all your sporting needs

We have a floodlit 3G pitch for hire, two full size football pitches and a cricket square.

We also have two changing rooms and are ready for your teams to come play. Just get in contact and we’ll see how we can help.

We have a fully enclosed young children’s play area to help keep small adventurers entertained with swings and skateboard equipment for older ones.

The children’s play equipment is kindly provided and maintained by Pawlett Parish Council.

Indoor sports

for when it’s cold outside or you want to go one on one with a friend, we have darts, skittles, table tennis and pool.

We have various teams who compete regularly in Skittles and darts. Pool and table tennis competitions are often held and can be very competitive.

Assistance Dogs only please

The whole of the Pawlett Sports & Playing Field Association site is a private members’ club and therefore not a public space.  It is also a sports complex and children’s play area and is therefore designated dog and household pet-free by our committee.  Dog walkers will be asked to leave, and dog walkers who are members will be brought to the attention of the committee, who could place sanctions against them.

Members, or their guests with specially trained assistance dogs that help their handlers with disabilities, are always welcome. Assistance dogs are those dogs which have been highly trained to carry out a range of tasks or alerts which support people with disabilities and some long-term medical conditions.  Whilst on our club premises, we require assistance dogs to wear a recognisable lead, collar, or harness as this will inform staff, so you should not be challenged. If there is any ambiguity as to whether your dog fulfils our requirements, please expect to show suitable documentation. Even well-trained dogs can behave unpredictably, so assistance dogs will be expected to be on a short lead, be working, and sit quietly beside their owner/handler at all times.

Emotional support dogs are not covered by relevant legislation and are therefore not permitted either inside or outside the building or on our club site in general. Such dogs are not welcome even if being held in people’s arms or in carriers.

We’re a true community venture,
run largely by volunteers
and created for the social enjoyment of the people of Pawlett and beyond.
